About the Client
africkevlasy.sk is the only specialized afro-shop with a brick-and-mortar store and an afro-salon in Bratislava. Founder Awa Mangara — known from her TikTok (@awamangara) — personally tests every product in her salon before listing it. The e-shop sells kanekalon hair, crochet curls, hairpieces, wigs, and hair cosmetics for customers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The business has won the Golden Company 2024 and Trustworthy Company Elite 2025 awards.
The Challenge
Customers ask dozens of questions daily — from choosing the right kanekalon shade to order status. Awa and her team couldn't answer immediately, which lengthened the path to purchase and increased abandoned carts outside business hours. The goal was to serve customers 24/7 and actively recommend products — without expanding the human team.
The Solution

The assistant was trained on Awa's voice, hair terminology, and product assortment details — from textures and lengths to braiding and crochet techniques.
